The question is, what
unimportant activities are you spending too much time on, which could be better
utilized to try meaningful new things?
John Wooden asks us to seek
significant change. I’m wondering if
the marathon training is one of those things.
It’s tough because I love to be in excellent shape. One of the coolest
things is knowing that for about 9 months out of each year I can run 20+ miles
without a problem. I mean come on, how many people can say that. I know right, now how many people can say it
and mean it. It’s just a great feeling. But
I’m wondering if I should be making more of a contribution to a bigger cause.
As I grow and become the person I want to be, I am seeing that I am also
becoming the person the world needs me to be. This may pull me off of the road and
into peoples home.
Are you spending too much time performing an
activity that is unimportant?
